Woodbury's 2nd XI look doomed to relegation with one match remaining. With a host of players unavailable or on 1st XI duty, Woodbury travelled to Uplyme & Lyme Regis and came away with only two points.
Another lost toss meant batting first on a pudding of a wicket and only Steve Banks (29) and Mickey Beer (13) reached double figures in Woodbury's total of 86 all out. Uplyme had little difficulty knocking the runs off losing five wickets in the process, with Darryl Stevens (three for 30) and Mickey Beer (two for 29) sharing the wickets. On a positive note, Woodbury gave senior debuts to 12 year olds George Jarman and Alex Manning who both acquitted themselves well in the field.
