Pavilion & Ground Development (1993-1995)

Woodbury Cricket Club played their first match at the Town Lane Ground on Sunday, 3 July, 1994. But the work to develop the pavilion and ground had started in 1993, with internal work on the pavilion continuing for a couple of years after that. The majority of this work, often expert, was provided voluntarily and these contributions to the club will never be forgotten.
The photos below were taken between August 1993 and August 1995, and primarily track the development of the Pavilion. They are also sure to jog the memory of some older club members, who may reminisce over differing shades and amounts of hair. Many a Saturday morning was given up by club members, and the final results proved that it was well worth the effort. Photos courtesy of Neil Richards.
