The Over's v. Under's is the traditional end of season fixture for the club. First played in 1986, the age split between the teams has usually been 35, until the 21st century saw an increase in the average age and the removal of 35 from the match title. But in 2004, with a 2nd XI now established and more opportunity for younger players, there was only one player in the Under's team above the age of 35. The Under's got stuck into the Over's, scoring 171 for 8 in their 35 overs, with Matt Thomas (33) and Jimmy Jones (27no) leading the way. But the weather was to have the final say, with the match abandoned after 15 overs of the second innings, with the Over's on 59 for 1. The Under's lead the series 9-8. Photos courtesy of Rob Jones.
